Practice Management

Alison Ingham is the Practice Manager and is a Non-Clinical Partner.

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the Practice such as ensuring the right systems are in place to provide high quality patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises, equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager is supported by a Data Quality Manager and Administration Manager.  Together they work with the Doctors and other healthcare professionals to monitor and deliver patient services and develop pathways to enhance patient care.

Reception

Our receptionists provide an important link for patients with the Practice and are your initial contact in the surgery or by telephone for any enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the Doctors and Nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, dealing with prescription enquiries, registering patients and managing patient records. 

Secretaries

Our Practice Secretaries deal with correspondence and referrals to hospitals.  In their role as PAs (Personal Assistants) to the Doctors, they form an important link between Doctors and patients and other healthcare professionals/organisations.
