Welcome to Northlands Surgery

If you need a Doctor and the Surgery is closed, call 111.  Calls to the NHS 111 Service are free from landlines and mobiles.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need.

As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Please do not attend the surgery for your booked appointment if you have a cough or fever. Please ring reception to cancel the appointment or be added to the telephone triage list as appropriate.  Please also see NHS 111 website for more information.

We are currently inviting Northlands patients who had a first Astra Zeneca Covid jab here at the surgery between 1st-13th Feb 2021 to a Second Dose Astra Zeneca clinic on Saturday, 24th April using a system called Accubook which invites you to book your appointment by clicking on a link. Accubook is a trusted link and only invites patients who have a preferred mobile number recorded in their patient record; anyone not contacted by this method will be called by us or you can email  so please do not worry if you do not have or do not regularly use a mobile.

Please see below for the dates for proposed future Second Dose Astra Zeneca clinics – appointments will go live nearer the clinic date when we know we have sufficient vaccine supplies.

4th -5th Mar

11th - 19th Mar

20th -31st Mar

Second dose Pfizer clinics will take place on two consecutive days w/c 10th May – unfortunately, we cannot specify which days until we have a confirmed delivery date.

Please bear with us – we still have over several thousand second doses to give between now and 6th June alongside running as near normal services as possible. Thank you to everyone who is helping us and apologies for any disruption.

We are now three months into a long vaccination programme. When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccine, you will receive an invitation to come forward. Please do not contact the surgery or the NHS to get an appointment until you are contacted.

For more information about the Covid-19, please refer to the NHS booklet, Covid-19 Vaccination: A Guide for Older Adults via We can send you this link by SMS or you can access the link via our website. Printed copies of the leaflet are available at the surgery.

Patients who attend the surgery are requested to wear face masks or face coverings, ie a scarf - the exceptions are children under the age of 11, those with disabilities or those with breathing difficulties.  Wherever possible please attend for your appointment on your own.
