ASTRA ZENECA SECOND COVID JABS AT NORTHLANDS SURGERY UPDATE
Firstly, thanks to everyone who helped us run two very successful Pfizer clinics during the week and another Astra Zeneca clinic today, Saturday.
Patients who had a first Astra Zeneca jab at Northlands from 6-19th March are now invited to our Sat clinic on 22nd May for their second dose – we are booking through Accubook, a system which invites you to book your appointment by clicking on a link. Accubook is a trusted link and only invites patients who have a mobile number recorded in their patient record; anyone not contacted by this method will be called by us or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org so please do not worry if you do not have or do not regularly use a mobile.
Patients who had a first Astra Zeneca jab at Northlands from 20th - 31st March will be invited to a morning clinic on Sat, 5th June for their second dose. We will advise when booking opens.
Patients are kindly requested to park away from the surgery if possible as this is a great help in managing patient flow. Thank you again to everyone who is helping us and apologies for any disruption.
For more information about the Covid-19 vaccination programme, please refer to the NHS booklet, Covid-19 Vaccination: A Guide for Older Adults via https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-vaccination-guide-for-older-adults We can send you this link by SMS or you can access the link via our website. Printed copies of the leaflet are available at the surgery.
Patients who attend the surgery are requested to wear face masks or face coverings, ie a scarf - the exceptions are children under the age of 11, those with disabilities or those with breathing difficulties. Wherever possible please attend for your appointment on your own.
